This is the 1st Project in the 2nd Phase of this Initiative. The proposer of the project is seeking to set up the first Open University in Mongolia. The goal is to deliver distance education using learning technology for a number of subject areas such as Business English and English language courses.

The starting point identified in the project is to help 'train the trainers' on distance learning/tutoring. How this problem is to be addressed is the task of the co-mentoring team.

The team of knowledgeable volunteers has 6 people and they are, as usual, highly distributed. We have a good mix of men and women all with considerable expertise. They are in the USA, India, Philippines, Singapore and the UK and give their time and knowledge voluntarily in return for a learning exchange in this unique but authentic professional development context.

The dialogue amongst the team has already begun with introductions and initial question construction. We will update this page as the project progresses.
